During my recent stay at the Baker Hotel over Easter, I was charmed by its unique Art-Deco ambiance and dedication to preserving its historic nature. The eclectic decor of our room, paired with a luxurious queen-sized bed, provided a delightful retreat after a day of exploring the beautiful Kootenay region. With the hotel perfectly positioned downtown, dining at the nearby Heidout became a highlight, and I appreciated how the location offered both city comforts and access to breathtaking outdoor trails. While the absence of an elevator posed a challenge for our older companion, the staff were exceptionally helpful in handling our bags, enhancing our overall experience. This gem of a hotel is truly a wonderful sanctuary for both adventure seekers and those who cherish a touch of luxury amidst nature. I can't wait to return!
